StudentSpace in Kraków offers improved acoustic conditions thanks to EPUACOUSTIC solutions.
EPUACOUSTIC, a company specializing in comprehensive acoustic solutions and part of Epufloor, supplied the GYM PRO under-screed system for a newly developed private student residence, StudentSpace, in Kraków at Wita Stwosza Street. The project was carried out in cooperation with GP Instal Bis Sp. z o.o., responsible for supervising acoustic comfort in the facility.
GYM PRO is a specialized flooring system designed for fitness zones and sports facilities located in residential and hotel buildings. Its application effectively limits the transmission of vibrations and impacts to the building structure, reduces noise generated during intense workouts and falling weights, and consequently improves acoustic comfort in rooms located below and adjacent to the gym area.
The system was installed in one of the newly developed student residences in Kraków belonging to the StudentSpace investment platform, which has been operating on the market since March 2024 as a joint venture of Signal Capital Partners, Griffin Capital Partners, and Echo Investment. The latest project includes the construction of three modern, fully equipped student residences in two locations in Kraków—Wita Stwosza Street and 29 Listopada Avenue. Together, they will offer students not only comfortable living conditions with 1,200 new accommodation places, but also access to recreational and sports facilities.
The use of GYM PRO ensures that residents will be able to enjoy fully equipped sports zones while still benefiting from quiet and comfortable living conditions in their rooms.
