PUR Polyurethane Resins

EPUFLEX ST kit including primer materials and two-component polyurethane resins. Designed for continuous or point, permanently elastic rail fastening in track surfaces. It provides very good vibro-acoustic and electrical insulation of the rail, and is particularly effective on sections where reducing the level of vibrations and noise (especially secondary noise) emitted to the surroundings is important.

The EPUFLEX ST system can be used in the following types of ballastless track superstructure:

Anchor nodes

Rail fastening system in anchor nodes on point or continuous grouting

EBS System

Embedded Block System – point-based rail fastening system with block supports

ERS System

Embedded Rail System – continuous, elastic rail fastening

Elastic track support

Elastic support of track framework on longitudinal foundation beams – elastic grouting between sleeper and beam

Profile

ERS-M Profiles

The modular embedded rail system consists of prefabricated elastomer profiles completely encasing the rail foot, web and partially the head. The system provides continuous, elastic rail support without the need for additional mechanical anchor points. Made of rubber granulate and/or rubber fibers bonded with polyurethane resin, the profiles completely separate the rail from the track structure, ensuring required electrical and vibro-acoustic insulation.
