The modernized pitch in Gościcino with turf from Epufloor has received the FIFA Quality certification
The FIFA Quality certification is awarded to surfaces that successfully pass rigorous laboratory tests as well as on-site evaluations. The assessment includes, among others, energy absorption, vertical deformation, water permeability, wear resistance, and ball behavior. The obtained result confirms that the pitch meets FIFA’s international standards for football facilities.
Due to the pitch dimensions of 97 m × 59 m, the facility received the FIFA Quality certification. The higher category, FIFA Quality Pro, is granted only to full-size football pitches with minimum dimensions of 100 m × 64 m.
The overall scope of the modernization went beyond just replacing the surface. As part of the investment, new ball stop nets were installed, a comfortable synthetic running track was constructed, spectator areas were prepared, and modern lighting and monitoring systems were installed. The pitch was also equipped with a set of new goals, allowing training sessions for two groups simultaneously and increasing the functionality of the facility.
Obtaining the certification is also significant from the perspective of Epufloor. It marks the third FIFA certification within a single month for pitches using surfaces supplied by the company. The other two facilities, in Bukowiec and Dębno, received FIFA Quality Pro certifications, confirming the top-class quality of surfaces delivered by the Polish company Epufloor.
The new pitch in Gościcino is an important part of the region’s sports infrastructure, significantly improving comfort and safety for users—both children and youth, as well as adult players. The FIFA Quality certification guarantees that the facility meets international standards and will serve the local community for many years.
